A Little Tribute

I don’t know who are you,

But you are the power which drives me through.

All the pains and days of blue

You stay beside me and I feel it true.

The days of my life pass by-

Some go smiling and some cry

I look back at them with a sigh,

Yet moving on is what I try.

Amidst the millions who live on this earth,

I feel like a creature dwelling in the dearth

Yet I thank you, my Creator, with all my heart

For bringing up this little life since its birth.

A 10-year-old poetry, finally finds its place on my blog!

I walk silently by the sea

I can feel the waves touch my feet

I look down and see the tiny bubbles

That live only for the moments

When I look back, I find

The footprints that I left on wet sand

Waves wash them away

Along with the memories that lay

I can see a tiny spot in the sea

That must be a ship that sails

Moving with the waves and battling all the storms

Thus struggling like all life forms

As I move ahead,

I know not where I go

Away from my destiny

Or moving near as though

I see the people striding along the beach

All the laughs and cries I hear

It is the world I still belong to,

Yet I find it nomore near...

Believe in wonder...

It's a September evening, one of those rare evenings I get to spend in my own room and I somehow got inspired to start my own blog. So far, I've been writing quite non-chalantly, completely unaware of how and where to place those scribbles...but now looking forward to my first time blogging experiences, any kind of suggestion is most welcome!

For those who don't know me, I am a romantic at heart and a thorough idealist in mind... well sometimes it's your belief, however improbable that seems, that makes you move through, ain't it?
